THE ELIOT CONDOMINIUMS

Portland, Oregon

Completed in 2008, this 18-story tower in downtown Portland, Oregon, has 228 condominium units and a connecting outdoor plaza to the Portland Art Museum. The Eliot is the first residential building in Portland to use a unitized curtain wall. This exterior glazing system was selected for its ability to allow more energy-saving, natural, light into the residences than traditional window systems. The curtain wall also helped maximize unit floor space. For this and other sustainable design features, the project was given the LEED ND (Neighborhood Development) Silver award, making it the first in the country to earn this distinction.

This project was a collaboration of Ankrom Moisan Architects (Architect of Record), and ZGF Architects (Design Architect). The design team included C2K Architecture Principal, John Wright.
